Slow summer days

We have been super lazy since we got home and barely left the house...just one trip to the burn...I did organise my linen cupboard though :) 

And the kids got free Irun-bru socks from Uncle Michael 

Coming home

We went to grannie's and picked Logan berries, black currants, and  red gooseberries. 

Lots of work was done while we were away and lots more is still being done. 

The flight

Oh so thankful for iPads when flights are delayed! 

Last days

We had a lovely last day in America at Valley Forge. Drinking fountains are still amazing to the kids! The flight home went fine and everyone slept! (First time in six years I haven't had to wrestle a child on a flight)

While mom as Emily cleaned the car up, the kids had a great time catching fireflies

Road trip fun

We just kept driving today! Peeps factory, cabela's, Hershey, shady maple ( was too full to stay) and then or hotel...3000 miles in four weeks.

To round out the greatest day so far, we found a Sonic!! 

Tour guide Emily also took us to the old Bethlehem Steel plant (now a casino and outlet shop). The Peeps store was there. She also wins the award for number of times taking the girls to the toilets in one trip....thank heavens for Auntie's patience level! 

Crayola!!!

We did the Crayola experience rosy (after a lunch at chick-Fil-a... They have hand sanitizer near the kids soft play and some in the toilets along with mouthwash!
