I told her maybe when she can learn to spell pierced right and keep her room as clean as she'll need to keep her ears.

Birthday Magic
Perhaps it's only fitting for the child who took four days to be born to have a birthday each year that seems to go on and on and on. She got a new bed, desk, chair and futon to replace her old toddler bed and ikea couch we got when we moved into our first house, but in my oft of preparedness, as most places had a lead time of 4 weeks, it came within a week. So she's had it since early in the month. Today was her horsey party with her school friends---and her magic unicorn cake. By Monday she'll be sick of it,although that doesn't stop nightly notes asking if she can get her ears pierced.

More snow fun
Coloured sand in snow! 
8 inches of snow!
Lemon blueberry yogurt loaf. Isla and fergus made it and Isla got a rotten egg! She was horrified and may never bake again but knows why you crack them in a bowl first.
Snow Day!!
Had eye exams afterschool, before Brownies and piano lessons! What a day so nice surprise to wake up to snow and as daddy said the roads were bad we stayed home. Lots of schools were cancelled anyway
